    Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital has served the West Kendall community with small animal medicine and surgery since the spring of 1989, when we first opened at 11266 SW 137 Ave. After 22 years of caring for some of the best clients and patients in the area, we outgrew our original space and moved to a larger location at 12801 SW 134 Court in July 2011. Today, our Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital is a true Miami staple, offering complete veterinary care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics, and surgery. Our veterinarians value clear communication,respect, and are always available to care for your pets and their families.

    Unfortunately, no. A diagnosis can only be made after a thorough physical exam by a veterinarian. Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital cannot legally or safely prescribe medication without first examining your pet.

    Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital recommends annual wellness exams, as they are crucial for your pet's long-term health. They allow us to establish a baseline for your pet's health, monitor for early signs of disease, and keep their vaccinations and parasite prevention up to date.

    Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital accepts cash, major credit and debit cards as well as financing options such as Care Credit and Scratchpay.

    While walk-ins are always welcome, we strongly recommend booking an appointment online or by phone to help minimize your wait time.

    Our services include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, spay and neuter, parasite prevention, allergy and dermatology care, microchipping, pet surgery, nutrition counseling, anesthesia, pain management, and an in-house pharmacy.

    We are open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
